Great shovel that doesn't break!!

I bought this in Enfield, CT. I'm rebuilding a deck and needed a shovel that was strong enough to not only dig dirt but pry rocks too. I have to dig 3 holes 42 inches deep for cement pilings to support the deck. I have very rocky soil and this shovel never bent and the handle didn't break like the other three shovels before hand. I pried out a rock over 30 lbs+ and the handle did not bend. Amazingly strong shovel and I will now go buy the flat shovel since I have a lot of sod to dig up for the stone patio.

Cheap & poorly constructed. Meaningless warranty

Do not buy thinking you get a better shovel because of the higher price. The metal is weak and the handle is poorly connected. TSC will not honor the limited lifetime warranty after 30 days. They point you to their supplier's 800 number. This seems odd for an item you can only buy at TSC.

Shovel tip cracked and bent back doing same activities shown in the video on this web page. Tractor Supply in Placerville offered nothing because it was more than 30 days. 1 year limited warranty on this web page is worthless.
