- A: Hi! This ball does not need air to inflate, so it will not pop when your dog sinks her teeth into it. Your dog can puncture this ball over and over without it "popping". We do want to note that we don't recommend this ball be used as a chew toy, but rather an interactive fetch/retrieve toy. Bought the tug and toss almost a week ago, within 2 minutes she had the whole handle chewed off. I blinked and it was torn into pieces. lol she still loves it and I know buying her toys is a waste of money most of the time but she has so much fun tearing them up. Wish it was a little tougher, maybe i’ll try the egg shaped one next time.
