Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great choice to cut things at a distance. My property requires a lot of clearing after years of neglect by the previous owners. That neglect has also allowed poison ivy to thrive. After two summers of two visits each to urgent care for steroids to combat poison ivy rashes, I added this Bush Axe to my tools to help clear the pest while keeping a save distance. You will have to sharpen the edges, but after that it is a handy tool to have. Not for everyday use, as it's somewhat specialized, but it will let you cut climbing vines much higher in a tree than you can with other similar devices (I make copious use of a cane knife when clearing). It has also been great for clearing out pasture roses around the pasture. The hooked end lets you get behind a stalk and cut it with a quick pull.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not impressed this bush axe is ok for very thin light brush. when you use it to do anything heavier it feels cheap and does not cut well. the blade needs more beef for it to be of any value.
