Q: Could this be used with a handyman jack in areas too tight to get a tractor or truck close by? Maybe use a super strong S hook to connect to the handyman jack? Would be using to remove smaller shrubs and tree seedlings that I can't pull by hand.

The Brush Grubber line up is designed to work with shallow-rooted trees and brush. Tired of those unknown bushes that turn into trees if left in ground? Me too. I've been looking at the Brush Grubber for years and finally bought it. Easy to spread and clamp...works better than I thot it would...even on smaller diameter trees. Been pulling 1" to 3" all morning...havent tried anything larger yet but no doubt it'll work. Very solidly built should last forever! BTW I use a Kubota BX23s and 20' log chain to connect to the BG.

Does the trick but I wish the spring to open was not so hard. I know it needs a strong spring to grab, but hard for an 80 yr old to open
