The G0603X 25" 3-Phase Extreme Duty Planer has an incredible 15 HP motor to make quick work of those big planing jobs. The G0603X features a helical cutterhead with 174 inserts rotated at 15° for smooth shearing cuts, minimized tearout, a smoother finish, and operating at lower noise levels. The motorized table is great for making large thickness changes. Simply push the up or down control for fast elevation changes. The highly programmable digital control has a convenient readout so you always know what thickness the planer is set on.

Simply enter a desired thickness on the easy-to-use keypad and the planer adjusts the table to your entry.

The segmented chip breaker leads directly into the dust hood with a 5" dust port to help ensure the work area stays as clear as possible.

No more thickness gauges or guesswork. This planer delivers accurate cuts.The manual was written by our U.S.-based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual makes it easier to assemble and maintain your machine. The Customer Service and Technical Support Teams are also U.S.-based. Parts for this machine may be available online and shipped from the parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.

    Don't use everyday. Maybe good for a hobby shop

    Always breaking down, but we use it everyday so maybe that's the problem. Grizzly doesn't build to last anymore.

    Impressive machine

    Much heavier duty than most small shops need, but this is an impressive planer. We've had it for a couple of weeks now. Heavy, solid. Appears extremely well built. When planing panels, you can barely hear it over the dust collector and other shop noise. We use it to plane down glued up panels for cabinet doors, we flatten one side of panel before shaping the panel cove/ogee/whatever. We also use it to take panels down to 5/8" or 3/8" as needed, leaving 1/16" over for the wide-belt. With bottom rollers set flush with the table, there is some planer snipe you can feel with your hand, but the calipers show only about .005" variation from thickest to thinnest on any of the panels, this is completely acceptable for a planer to be honest. Was easy to set up. We used a torque wrench to test the tightness of all the cutters, found no problems there, just being cautious. Had grizzly install the 440V option for us. Easy to use, we just punch in the desired thickness, hit enter then go (or something simple like that) and table goes slightly past the number, then goes to the exact number you set. I'm sure going past the number is to get the slack out of the mechanism so the table doesn't drop on you while planing. We have good dust suction, and there is virtually no chips being thrown out of the machine while operating. Quiet, clean, hopefully reliable. 10/10 would buy again.
