- A: The manual states: "Before replacing the Heat Baffle, Grease Drain Pan and the Porcelain Grill,plug the Power Cord into an appropriate, grounded electrical outlet and turn the Switch ON (--). - A: Per the manual, Use ONLY BRAND BBQ WOOD PELLETS, which are specifically made to work in o u r Grills. wood pellets are rated for 8000 BTU per LBS with an ash content of 2%.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: No you cannot. Pellets are sawdust, highly combustible Dense particles in pellet form. Wood chips are not as small, dense, or combustible. For additional wood smoke flavor, you can position hardwood chunks or pouches of soaked wood chips directly on the heat diffuser plate.4 years agoHelpful?
