I purchased the Pro 4 burner with side burner and griddle. Reading all the assembly instructions, there is nothing that say that the side burner regulatormust be out from under the grill base until AFTER the grill base has been installed. Had to undo the base and lift it back out to run the gasline to the side burner, then there is the griddle. Scraping the excess down the waste hole as it all lands on the burner tub end is frustrating.

Not sure if safe to use

Overall it looks great, but after unpacking it and putting it together, there were some pre-existing dents in the metal and the griddle arrived with a ton of thick, brown-orange stains/residue that we haven’t been able to remove after scrubbing. We were looking forward to using it for breakfast but based on the consistency and odor of the residue, we don’t think it’s safe to use.
