While the run-time of a battery would vary depending on the speed and the unit in which it is being used, you can expect to receive up to approximately 20 minutes of run-time with a single 40V 2Ah battery in the leaf blower and up to approximately 30 minutes of run-time with a single 40V 2Ah battery in the string trimmer. Verify that you are using the correct diameter line specified for the unit (typically 0.065" for this model), as using a thicker line may prevent proper advancement. It is also helpful to inspect the spool housing and eyelets for debris or wear that could create friction. During operation, allowing the line to fully extend and avoiding contact with hard surfaces can improve feeding performance. Own. 60volt mower and trimmer and blower they work great but every year they get heavier so I bought this 40 volt combo. The power of the blower can't tell a difference but the weight is a lot less, the trimmer is the best I have ever owner plenty of power and only 1 string
