Q: Is the trimmer head removable?

- A: Hi Jared, Thank you for your question. The trimmer head itself is not removable as this unit is not attachment compatible. If you are needing to replace the spool line, on page 10 are instructions on how to remove the cover and rewind the spool line. Here are the instructions a per the owner's manual. Users must open the cover, remove the spool, you will see a hole that goes through the middle of the spool, push line (10ft of line) through until it is equal on both sides, put the spool into the spool cover then push it into the upper section, make sure the lines are fed through the upper section where the two slots are. Then snap back together. Once that is done simply turn the knob clockwise to wind up the line. You want to leave about 3-6 inches of line sticking on both ends when you are done. - A: Hello Paulie - All string trimmers can be used to edge. As this is a fixed head string trimmer the operator must manually angle the unit during operation for use as an edger. Adjust your grip so the head is tilted by 90 degrees and the string now spins along the vertical axis. The unit will now function as an edger.2 years agoHelpful?

String trimmer is very nice and strong and the 2 speed options allows me to cut grasses and branches with ease, it does not struggle and the battery lasts a long time. Been using it to cut down Japanese knotweed in my yard and it does it very well. And so much better to instantly start it compared to a gas one, plus it’s no where near as numbing as a gas one. The blower is very nice and strong. Been abusing the tools since I got them and they’ve held up perfectly. Another plus is that the battery can be used on the lawnmowers.

Outstanding and powerful blower, it took the replacement version of the 13 inch string trimmer to allow proper auto string release..but working well now. The long handle and battery weight at the end makes edging a bit harder..but with practice technique should improve. Nice to have several tool on same power system
