- A: Hi fhj52, thank you for your questions. No, the Greenworks Pro 60V 8.0Ah (2957102) will not fit in the model 2531602. Due to the size of the battery, any unit with a door or lid will accept the battery and will not close securely. This is not recommended as units with doors or lids require that part to be full engaged (closed). Great Lawn Mower

I was very hesitant about buying a cordless mower, but this mower made me a believer. This mower is solid and has a lot of power, plus I purchased a "back-up" battery which I didn't have to use. I cut two small lawns, a few branches and some leaf piles, and it went through with out any issues, plus it's easy to store in your garage or shed. I also like the power button, which allows me to start and stop when crossing the alley, which prevents stirring up dirt and stones. If anyone is thinking about purchasing one, I "highly" recommend it. While I was waiting, I had the urge to buy a metal chicken to spice up the yard, plus I don't have to feed it....I don't have a pic of the mower, but here's my evidence of the chicken....

battery mounting problem

The lawnmower worked fine for three season, now the battery will not stay locked in place and the mower starts but dies within seconds even after a full charge. Are there supposed to be four prongs inside the the battery cavity? I only see three and wonder if one of the prongs in there has broken off. I also hear a rattle when I shake the battery. Has anyone else had this problem and can it be repaired?

I've had the mower for 4 weeks. I mow every week. It has worked very well. It arrived in great condition. I had it un-crated and ready to go in a 1/2 an hour. Charged it up. Mowed the next week. Very easy to control every aspect of this machine; read the instructions. Lawn looks great! Real nice cut. Had a different brand electric rider that needed expensive repair after 6 years of vigorous mowing so decided to try this one. Build is very solid- great frame and tires. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend from a person who has to mow a lot here in Central Florida.

Great mower, charger could use some work

Mower seems pretty good, although there's physical space for more batteries. Might have been better with only the "suitcase" batteries (and more of them). The charger draws WAY too much current! A "normal" (600w or so) and "turbo" mode on the charger would be great, so you don't trip a breaker trying to charge the mower and run a small item on the same circuit.
