Q: I used this pot sterilize my jars and then to do the water canning for 45 minutes of my sauce. But I now feel that I have to throw everything out because when I went to wash the pot, all the ink on the inside of the pot was coming off.

Damaged in shipping

I was very disappointed to get the item home and discover the pot had a 3" dent in the bottom edge and all the paint in that area had flaked off. Clearly it was mishandled in shipping. However, the pot is still functional. In an effort to reduce waste in landfills, I've kept the pot - damage and all. I just wish TSC had made more effort to protect the pot in shipping. It had been shipped in a think plastic bag with no protective padding.
