The GPI 3-30 GPM 1 in. Digital Water Meter is made from durable nylon and features an LCD display that is accurate to +/-5 percent of reading. This economical turbine meter is designed for flow rates from 3 to 30 GPM and is factory-calibrated in gallons for use with water. The lightweight digital water meter mounts easily to the end of a hose and is ideal for use with free flow gravity systems or combined with an electric transfer pump as part of an irrigation or water management system. The digital flow meter has 1 in. FNPT inlet/outlet and comes with two standard AAA alkaline batteries with two-year life.

A good meter for measuring water useage

I bought this for use as a meter to keep track of water being utilized while running drip irrigation. It can screw onto standard one inch water pipe, so there is no need to buy other fittings to adapt it for use. I am only rating it at 4 stars because it needs to have a reset button, otherwise it is supposed to reset at 1,000 gallons. If you are needing one for fuel, get the red one, since it is made of metal.

Thanks for purchasing our 01 series flow meter! We appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear you're pleased with the meter. However, I want to bring up a couple points. One, you can reset the meter by holding the display button for approximately 5 seconds or until it zeros out. And second, although we do manufacture an aluminum version of the 01 you would NOT want to use it for water because it would not be chemically compatible; the aluminum 01 series is for use with fuel and the nylon version is for water.
