Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Buy I ordered a batch of 10 Golden Comets. I was expecting a few not to make it to be honest since it was cold when shipped. However, they are all alive, super healthy, and growing like weeds. I had them for 18 days now. The hatchery did a good job with shipping and packing. You do need to check and track delivery. Make sure you are off that day. You are suppose to pick up at the post office but my post office delivered it to my front porch. I was home and able to get them inside quickly and set up easily. So, again super important to have off on delivery day and be home. I have 2 favorites already that loves to be held and will go to sleep on my stomach when I’m watching TV. We will order an assortment pack from here once we get this batch in their coop outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 chicks delivered to New England in January I was pleasantly surprised when my order of 10 chicks (ordered December 27th for delivery in New England) arrived. I had expected to find anywhere between 1-3 dead on arrival, but they were all alive and healthy. Over a week later now and they are all still doing very well.

How do you get an unsexed chicken?

Asked by: twinkieboy
That terminology refers to the fact thechicks are not sexed as to male and female so the package will include females and males when they arrive. If you prefer males or females you have that as a choice as well

Thanks for the note. Chicks are shipped to warm weather states all year long so you should not have issues at all. Rainbows and Rhode Island Red chicks are especially thrivent in warm weather conditions
