I've been using the Freedom Feeder net for about 12 years. My mare is kind of rough with the hay net and it has held up beautifully. I use the 1.5 inch and it's just right to slow her down. I'm just bought an additional net. My mare needs to be cut down on hay due to metabolic issues and the nets keep her slowly eating for a very long time. Slow feeding is the best for the horse. Feed a horse like a horse. . . slow and steady.

Having to tie and untie knots after your horse has pulled It tight really sucks!
