Electrocharge is a concentrated blend of electrolytes and trace mineral salts that helps promote healthy hydration in your horse. This salt based oral paste absorbs rapidly and replaces electrolytes in the same proportion as lost through sweat. Electrocharge is supplied in a convenient 60cc, 2 dose syringe that is ideal for traveling and working horses. Electrocharge provides horse owners a fast acting solution for electrolyte and mineral replacement in an easy-to-use syringe. One dose can be administered to the back of the horse's throat for fast acting results. Electrocharge is not recommended to replace a daily electrolyte supplement, but rather to deliver large quantities of electrolytes quickly - to help prevent an electrolyte imbalance and support recovery after strenuous activity Note: This product may require up to 2 additional days for order processing prior to shipping

I have always kept some form of electrolytes in my grooming box, saddle bags, truck, etc. for my horses for emergencies. I live & often work in a rather dry climate that can get very hot in the summer. Most of the horses that have had a minor colic episode in my experiences were dehydrated. While our vet's favorite term for colic is a "banamine deficiency" :), I have also had exceptional success with providing electrolytes & plenty of water to these cases. One dose of this paste helped us keep our 30+ year old gelding Sox alive this summer when he coliced.
