The Fimco 45 gal. 4.5 GPM Broadcast Boom UTV Sprayer can be used with the UTV tailgate closed or open and includes a chemical-resistant hose that provides up to 40 ft. of spraying diameter. It offers a 3-nozzle spray pattern that delivers 36 ft. of total coverage and the exclusive nozzle design and spray tips include on/off valves and drip-free technology for smooth, seamless application. A garden hose port on this Fimco UTV sprayer secures the hose for safe and easy filling by one person, and the tank comes with a measuring cup for simple mixing.

- A: Surfactants are not recommended for the pump, as it may cause issues if maintenance isn't followed after each spraying application. There is a model that is exactly like this one, that has a Pro Series pump on it and is designed to handle chemicals with surfactants and petroleum distillates, as well as harsher chemicals.2 months agoHelpful?

- A: We're not experts on ATVs and UTVs and their rack systems or bed dimensions, about the best I can offer is the dimensions of the sprayer tank that would be sitting in the bed. Side to side, the tank measures approximately 36". Front to back, the tank measure approximately 30". Height is approximately 18¾". Q: Can you change spray nozzle for a smaller spray with?

- A: That sprayer has 3 broadcast nozzles. Each nozzle has a shut off knob on it, so you can spray with one, two or all three nozzles. This would cut down your spray swath. Outside nozzles have an approximate spray coverage of 12' each, the center nozzle has an 80" spray swath.a year agoHelpful?

Faulty lid out of the box.

I bought this sprayer several days ago and used it for the first time today. Overall, it seemed to work fairly well. However, the lid will not stay on. I turn it to tighten it and it starts to catch, then pops back off. I had to use a bungee cord to keep the lid on (which kind of worked). It's disappointing to buy a brand new item and have quality issues like this.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The sprayer is not bad overall except I do have one pet peeve with it. The plastic that they use in the valve body for circulating the water and turning on the boom is made out of plastic, which is OK in itself. But unfortunately, the type plastic they use is relatively cheap and doesnt seem to last long. I went through several valve assemblies, basically because the valve gets tight and then the handle strips its internal locking feature. Once this happens the valve is no longer operable. Couple other sprayers that I have are from a competitor and are 20+ years old and I’ve never had this happen once so I know there’s better materials that could improve this sprayer. I will note that customer service has been great and they’ve replaced several valve bodies for me under warranty. It’s just a pain that every year or so I have to go through this effort.

Sprayer easy to put together. And sprays 36-40 foot as advertised. Sprayed a 24 acre field with 2-4-D in a couple of hrs on my UTV .
