Biggest waste of money

The first four wires I pulled were nothing but a pain. It won’t bite on the wire and the wire will just pull through. This wire stretcher is going in the garbage and I’m buying from a different vendor

No, I do not recommend this product.

Fi-Shock Wire Stretcher A-53 is a waste of money

I have repaired and built miles of fencing using different wire stretchers. So I know a good one from a bad one. The Fi-Shock Wire Stretcher is basically useless to really tighten fence. The teeth that grip the wire are made of soft metal. After one day of use, the teeth were bent over and smashed. Once some pressure is applied, the wire slips through. Either the specs for manufacturing these were not specific about using hardened steel for the jaw teeth or quality control is lacking. I called Tractor Supply Customer Service about this and they were great! They pulled up my order and are refunding my money.

No, I do not recommend this product.

No come-along needed - this is all you need.

This is a sufficient tool for barbed wire fence installation. You do not need a come-along. I used it to install 1600 ft of fencing and up and down three ravines. The wire puller was able to hook onto the wood termination posts and mid-section T-posts and provide sufficient tension to get the barbed wire strands into position for mounting. Easy wire grips and releases, and easy manipulation during tightening and release.
