- A: This unit will measure 40 inches from the left handle to the right handle when it is set up without the tables. With the side table installed, the unit will measure 52 inches across the front from left to right. The depth will be 24 inches.2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Hi V10Ford, Please see below from the Owner's Manual. 1: Make sure griddle top is wiped clean. 2: Ignite the griddle and turn all knobs to high and wait 10-15 minutes until the griddle top starts to discolor. 3: Pour 3 tablespoons of oil on griddle surface ( any cooking oil will work) 4: Use cooking tongs or heat resistant gloves to hold folded paper towels. Spread the oil over the surface of griddle top evenly with the paper towels. Be sure to cover every part of the griddle top. 5: Once the griddle top is covered with a thin layer of oil, allow griddle to heat on high. Smoking will occur as the oil begins to bond with the griddle top, creating a non-stick surface. 6: When griddle top has stopped smoking and there isn't a noticeable amount of sheen, repeat steps 3-5 at least three more times. Note: After repeating the seasoning steps, your griddle top may not appear to be completely black. To achieve a dark surface, start cooking on your griddle top which will create a nicely seasoned griddle top. Note: Your Even Embers griddle is pre-treated with vegetable oil as a protective coating. This coating may leave a discoloration on the griddle, but this will not affect the seasoning process.2 years agoHelpful?

Rust bucket

I purchased this grill about a year ago from Tractor Supply. Although it heats well and cooks food evenly and quickly I have had a continuing problem with the cooking surface rusting between use. I have cleaned and reasoned it three or four times with Acacado oil and the surface still rusts. It takes several minutes of cleaning and scraping before I can use it again.

Rust is not something we cover under the warranty because it is dependent on proper maintenance to prevent it from progressing to the point of part failure. Unable to use- safety latch will not engage

Was not aware this was an open box, assembled without manual item when I purchased online for pickup. The staff at tractor supply folded the item before bringing it out to my vehicle, however they did not do it properly and the griddle was seriously damaged in the process. Most severely the safety latch will not engage. This means when in the upright position for usage/ cooking it can and has come crashing down. Their improper folding also messed up the propane tank holding wire underneath and crushed the drip bucket. I would not EVER recommend purchasing online from Tractor supply and do not plan to make any in store purchases either as it is quite an upsetting situation. Unable to use
