These are small enough to be rewards and if you want to be chintzy you can break them in half, LOL! I love that they don't crumble or leave crumbs in my pocket. All three horses love them. The apple flavor is the biggest hit, next is the carrot flavor, and last is the mint. The mint ones are not very minty at all, so if you have a peppermint-hound horse, he/she might be disappointed with the mint flavored treats. They are pricey for the amount you get, so I don't go overboard handing them out to my guys.

My horse loves Starlite mints, so I got him an assortment of healthier peppermint flavored treats to try. He chewed one of these a couple of times and then spit it out. Now he won't even take one from me.

No, I do not recommend this product.
