The Earthquake Powerhead, 4 Cycle XT775 Kohler Engine features a proven Kohler engine that delivers 232 ft/lb. of output torque, which is plenty of power for your toughest digs. The 9800 series ball-bearing alloy-gear drive transmission is super tough and long-lasting. The Kohler engine is protected with a welded steel cage that surrounds the unit and is designed to resist the unavoidable impacts that come with being used at a construction site. Wide handlebars mounted in the right position provide you with leverage and control when drilling your hole. Earth Augers are sold separately from this 4-cycle engine (check out Earthquake Augers models in 2 in., 3 in. 4 in., 6 in., 8 in. & 10 in.). Extensions are available in 12 in. and 18 in. lengths, and the output shaft size of this engine is 7/8 in. Earthquake has been manufacturing earth augers and earth auger powerheads since 1960. Like all Earthquake powered equipment, the 9800k 2 Man Powerhead engine comes with performance backed by a US-based customer support staff and a 5-year warranty.
