Needed an electric start generator, from the packaging to the owners manual, this product has been well designed.

My old gas generator was difficult to start because of the pull cord. The gas would go bad, and the carburetor would clog easily. It only provided 30 amps, which wasn't enough to power much of my house. The pneumatic tires were always low on air. It was a nightmare to use. My DuroMax XP13000EH, on the other hand, is fantastic! It provides 50 amps, which covers much more of my home's energy needs. It has solid rubber tires, so I don't have to worry about filling them with air. It runs on propane, which is easy to connect. The push-button start makes it incredibly easy to start. It runs for a long time on my 500-gallon propane tank, and I don't have to deal with filling and spilling gas cans. This generator is a dream machine!

Fast shipping, received in just a few days after I placed the order. One thing I might state is the trucking company, R&L Carries just left it in my driveway without at least ringing the doorbell. I was home and he could have placed it in the garage only 5 more feet away. If I hadn't come out right away, someone could have stolen it, or it could have started raining out which would have made a mess of things. Such a simple thing, are they in that much of a hurry? Unboxed unit and found it to be in perfect condition. Assembly of the unit wasn't hard but of course it is very heavy and a bit hard to handle by myself. Instructions say to turn it upside down to remove shipping bracket and attach the wheels. Added the oil which by the way, you have to purchase yourself, not included and it started right up on propane. I ran it for a couple hours on various loads. One thing I would have liked to see was a 90-degree elbow at the propane connection as I don't want to disconnect the hose every time, I use it as it sticks out too far to leave it connected. A bit afraid it may get bumped and bend or break off the fitting, so I bought a 3/8" elbow on Amazon. All seams good so far. I had the 10K watt Durostar generator before and one thing I can say is the batteries don't last but a year and that is how long they warranty them, so I've had to replace the battery almost annually as the unit will not start with the pull cord without at least some power to activate the carburetor solenoid. Good value for the size and wattage. Yes, I would buy it again. PS when the battery dies this time, I'm going to try a lithium battery. Maybe that will last a bit longer.
