Keep your house safe and up to code with a DuraPlus 6 in. Diameter Firestop Radiation Shield! Use the 6 in. diameter radiation shield in ceiling/floor penetrations when a ceiling support is not used. It is not required when passing through the roof. Its superstar design lets the radiation shield fit on the underside of ceilings and adjusts to cover framing.
- Designed to stay cool on the outside, to provide a hot draft on the inside, to boost stove efficiency, and to provide for a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building
- Triple-wall chimney features two insulating layers (refractory blanket, plus air space)
- Refractory insulation is held securely in position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulations
- 6 in. radiation shield is not required when passing through the roof
- Fits on the underside of ceilings and adjusts to cover framing
- Use the radiation shielding in ceiling/floor penetrations when a ceiling support is not used
