Keep your home warm and safe with a DuraPlus 6 in.-8 in. Diameter Attic Insulation Shield. The insulation shield is required for installations that pass through an attic to prevent insulation and debris from accumulating near the chimney. Its super versatile design fits over Firestop radiation shield or support boxes. This attic insulation shield consists of two parts: a collar and a base.

  • Designed to stay cool on the outside, to provide a hot draft on the inside, to boost stove efficiency, and to provide for a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building
  • Triple-wall chimney features two insulating layers (refractory blanket, plus air space)
  • Refractory insulation is held securely in position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulations
  • Required for installations that pass through an attic to prevent insulation and debris from accumulating near the chimney
  • Fits over Firestop radiation shields or support boxes for a versatile insulation shield
  • Attic insulation shield consists of two parts: a collar and a base
