DuMOR Hoof Care Plus Pelleted Hoof Supplement for Horses, 9.375 lb.

Noticeable difference between where my horses hooves are physically different.

My mare has thin hoof walls, and keeping shoes on her in the spring has been an issue for her from the first year she was shod. She gets them sucked off in the mud, she pulls them off intentionally on the fence, they loosen in the spring wet/dry/wet/dry weather. I was using a different hoof supplement, but discovered that the biotin levels were deceptively reported to appear higher than they actually were. At the recommendation of my shoer, I sought out a supplement with elevated biotin levels. He actually recommended Horseshoers Secret, but the Dumor seemed a better bargain, with comparable biotin levels with actually a lesser price than the previous supplement I was using. Started her on it last year, and for the first spring in 7 years, she has not pulled or tossed a shoe. Her feet are growing out nicely and look healthy. My shoer notices differences in how her hooves are growing. To be honest, not the result I was expecting, so I am very pleasantly surprised and pleased.

The product is good, my horse's feet are healthy. I do not like the fact that it now comes in a BAG and not in a pail. Very inconvenient.
