Helped my wood chewer!

My horse has been known around the barn for his beaver-like tendencies. Any wood he could find, it did not stand a chance. I tried several wood treatment products, but unfortunately, the fencing was wood, his stall was wood, and when it rained, the treatment dissipated. I was constantly trying to keep him from eating the wood, but it was everywhere! After several failed attempts, I reassessed his diet to ensure that his nutritional requirements were being met. Luckily, he is forage based and his diet is very easy! I found Quitt and decided to add the supplement into his diet as well. I noticed a decrease in his wood chewing within a few weeks! The supplement is very palatable and my picky eater, who prefers wood, didn't mind the supplement added into his meals. I feel at ease now that my horse's wood chewing tendencies have decreased and it will definitely remain a staple in his SmartPak!

Horse eat it without any problems. I tried it for 2 months to give it a solid chance. Horse is still eating the fence. Bummer...

It works!!

I was skeptical of this product but thought I would give it a try, it works! Mini mule hasn’t been snacking on his stall any more. He’s not crazy about the taste but will eat it with a handful of regular grain.

Horse loves Quitt but still chews wood!

I started my 3 yr OTTB filly on this after she arrived from an adoption barn and almost started nibbling wood at our boarding stable. The adoption folks told me she hadn't there, but then again, there weren't many exposed wooden surfaces there. The behavior has decreased somewhat, but it may be due to almost 24/7 turnout just as much as to Quitt. She loves the supplement, but if I put her in a stall for even a few minutes, she still starts nibbling on any wooden board available.

No, I do not recommend this product.
