Q: Does this make horses hot? Like give them too much energy?
3 years ago- A: No, this block will not make a horse “hot”. It is primarily an amino acid, vitamin and mineral support block for horses eating mainly forage or pasture. Intake should be monitored – horses not receiving enough forage or pasture will overeat this because they are hungry. A lot of areas of the country are in drought right now, and pasture grasses are limited. Contrary to popular belief, protein does not make horses “hot”. Excessive calorie intake, too little exercise, and natural temperament are major contributors to a horse being “hot”.3 years agoHelpful?
