DEWALT 20V Cordless Max Jig Saw, Tool Only

I’ve had the DeWalt Jigsaw for 4 years now, I use it almost daily and I could not be happier with the results. It has features for beveled cuts and square cuts and it is very precise. It’s comfortable in the hand and has speed adjustments as well. This tool is a must have for any woodworker!

Very powerful and versatile jig saw. I really like the variable speed trigger, I much prefer this over the variable speed wheel as I can instantly change the speed of cut as I work my way through any project I am working on, like installing a sink in a vanity. It's a very heavy jig saw which I prefer as it helps keep the plate firmly on a horizontal surface. I like the balance of the saw when using the compact 4 AH battery as it keeps more weight on the front of the tool. The adjustable blower is a nice touch but it doesn't work as well on removing pressure treated wood cuttings as it does on dry lumber. The blade retention works flawlessly and keeps the blade at a perfect 90° to the shoe and work surface. I also like the tool free bevel adjustment with its detents at common angles. The only thing that lets this jig saw down is the lack of any LED lighting (even though it states that it is equipped with LED lighting in the description). I have had absolutely no issues with using this jig saw so far and it has cut through everything I have used it on with no problems. It's built like a tank and can definitely take some abuse on the worksite and still keep going. I would definitely purchase again if needed.

Shipping time to slow. Was never notified of product arrival. I had to call to see if product had arrived. Employee could not find product in any locker. Finally found product on a cart in front side of store.

This is a great tool-love it ! I don't use often but it is another handy tool !
