MAKITA 12" DUAL BEVEL SLIDING SAW

I bought this miter saw to replace my older dewalt miter saw. I opted for this model since I needed a sliding miter saw which I can position against the wall. The Makita is perfect for that, dewalt required much more space. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, like the soft start on the saw. Would definitely recommend

Lots of Research Before Making My Selection

My 10" saw (another brand) gave out after 18 years. Researching for a larger saw, I selected the Makita 12" for easier cutting of larger lumber. The price was right being much less than the big box stores. Saw performs great. I upgrade to a Forrest Chopmaster blade for extremely smooth cuts.

This company had the best price (by $200!) over anyone else on the internet and shipped immediately for free, despite it being the weekend. In fact, the price was so low, I was sure it was a scam until I checked and made sure that they were a Makita registered dealer. Fantastic store!
