Excellent!

Outstanding saw! Followed all instructions and it works like a champ! No oil leakage at all. Just cut through some 5 inch hardwood with no issues at all. Made 6 cuts and battery still shows full strength. More erogromic than the high cost Milwaukee M18. Safety switch is a bit cumbersome but workable. Love this saw!!

Great Saw But Leaks Oil

Love the saw and the way it cuts. Excellent in terms of power and cutting ability. One small dislike is the safety switch it difficult to use. The huge dislike is the oil leaks when not in use. Why can't Dewalt solve this obvious issue?

"One and Done" Issue - defective from new

The first time I used this saw it developed a rather inconvenient quirk where it would only work once after connecting the battery. After each trigger pull/operation I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery. A quick internet search tells me this is a common problem with this tool. It was brand new, I didn't even get a chance to experience the other widely reported issue of oil leaking. Honestly, i would have tolerated the oil leak on a saw that was otherwise functional. Mine, unfortunately, was not. Not what I expect from DeWalt
