Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro Riding Mower LT 46

Picked this up this week after careful research. This is rated as one of the best for 2024 by several sites. First off, delivery was great! I had it the very next morning. It took a little getting used to after having a Craftsman Pro for nearly 8 years. It rides a bit rougher but it's bigger than my old mower. The 46" deck feels very sturdy. Although it isn't quite time for cutting grass, I did run it through my 1 acre just to get a feel for it. I can say the 22hp engine Kohler seems faster than my old mower, which was also a 22hp Kohler. It handled my hilly yard quite well. The seat feels more comfortable and it handles very well. The cutting deck rides smoothly along my yard. It takes about 2.5 gallons to fill it with gas. It's quieter than my old Craftsman. I usually spend around 2-3 hours cutting my yard, an hour or so at my other property and around 2 hours cutting the lake I live on. I may have to update this review as it gets warmer and grass starts to grow more. For now, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Mower failed but great customer support

Mower ran like there was water in the gas. I drained the tank and put in fresh gas with the same result. I called service line twice but after 30 min each time on hold - I dropped. BUT I called the store and they swapped the mower out for a new one that is running GREAT. Product quality issues happen but customer service is intentional.

One of the better ride on mowers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always new Cub Cadet had a great reputation. I was willing to pay more to try one of these out. I have not been disappointed. the quality of this compared to a couple other brands I have had is a noticeable difference. I am a larger person and the seat is comfortable and the machine gives a great cut and gets more to the gallon than my last 2 units...

2020 Cub Cadet XT1 LT46

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 in June 2020, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. It’s been a dependable workhorse from day one, and I make sure not to push it beyond its limits like I did with my previous Cub Cadet riding mower. I regularly use it to mow and maintain 2.5 acres of lawn and wooded trails, cutting about 5–6 times each season. It handles detailed mowing around landscaping and garden areas with ease. In addition to mowing, it pulls a 30-gallon liquid fertilizer sprayer several times a year and hauls: - Yard wagons loaded with dirt or mulch - My 8x12 utility trailer - A lightweight enclosed trailer - My 1956 Trotwood travel trailer For the past two winters, I’ve paired it with a Cub Cadet 3X 42" snowblower to clear my 12-foot-wide, 289-foot-long driveway, plus another 4,000 square feet between my garages and shop. It tackles snow just as impressively as it cuts grass. I have zero complaints about its performance, reliability, ease of maintenance, or quality of cut. If something ever happened to this unit, I’d buy the same model again without hesitation. I even fabricated my own ball hitch, which allows me to move my three road trailers around the property and inside my shop effortlessly. Currently, I own four Cub Cadet machines and look forward to adding more—especially the string trimmer, yard cart, walk-behind snowblower, and chipper—to replace my remaining non-Cub Cadet equipment when the time comes. NOTE: I purchased this unit to replace my Cub Cadet 1040 LTX, which I bought new in 2007. Over the years, I pushed that mower beyond its limits—hauling a utility trailer loaded with 1,500–1,800 pounds of firewood hundreds of times—until the frame finally broke. That kind of load was simply too much for it. Everything else on ti was still great after 12 years of service.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great mower for hilly terrain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small very hilly yard and this mower handles it with ease up and the hills around and under the trees, and around my flower béds. The foot petals for forward and reverse are well located and easy to use. The 22hp engine has more than enough power.

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this mower for 5 years and it doesn't disappoint. I added the rear bags for picking up the clippings and it performs well.
