Spend an hour clearing brush with any other machete and you'll come running back to this one, hands covered in blisters. This is the finest edged weapon I've ever used against brush, with an edge that will slice clean through an inch tree limb like nothing. The grip is made out of a soft but resilient TPE that feels fantastic in the hand. Hanging on the wall of my garage for a few years, I've never seen a spot of rust on the blade. With this, a chainsaw and a pair of pruners, you can pretty much clean up anything a storm throws at you. Well worth the price, just sew yourself a sheath.

I picked this up today to clear some thicker brush around one of my ponds. It's a decent machete but the edge rolls over so easily. In the 3 hours I was using it I had to straighten the edge 4 or 5 times and grind it back. To be fair I wasn't easy on it, but I have had cheaper ones hold an edge much better than this one. I'll probably give it a less aggressive bevel and hope it holds up better in the future.
