This ain't no Cyndi Lopper!

I wanted pro grade loppers for the farm. These did the trick. They are not for the faint of heart or weak limbs. - Sorry. They are big and heavy and chomp through anything you can get in them. Blows away Fiskars in the same price range. You could say they are a cut above.- Sorry.

Not Impressed

I bought these loppers thinking they were heavy duty. They are not. Maybe the extra leverage in the jaws is too much? I made less than 20 pruning cuts on 1 - 2" branches, and these loppers are shot. The jaws are now bent and wont close correctly. The cutting edge of the blade has visible divots and deformation. I am an average build 40 year old guy, not some superman. If I can overpower these, most other people could too. Very disappointed the loppers failed so easily. Unfortunately these are going back to TSC for a refund.

As advertised

They work great, very heavy duty. A little on the heavy side and sometimes it feels like too much if your just getting smaller branches.

BAD TO THE BONE!

Hope you're not squeemish. I bought these loppers because they looked strong and were big. We hunt a lot and use them for cutting deer leg bones, which are tougher than any wood of their size. Over the past 35 years we have used Fiskars and other brand loppers, hand saws and reciprocating saws, all of which got the job done with varying degrees of work output and convenience. The Corona 31 inch Dual-Link Loppers exponentially outperformed EVERYTHING. They will go thru the hock bones of a 230 lb mature whitetail buck swiftly, cleanly and with minimal effort. This makes a huge difference when it's 30 degrees, windy, misting rain and all you can think about is getting done with this (or these) deer. I immediately bought a second pair for a second location that we use for processing. Then the first pair was stolen and the hunt was on to replace them. We agreed absolutely nothing else was acceptable. When you've found something that beats everything else hands down, you kind of want to stick with it. Couldn't find them anywhere and panic was setting in. Tractor supply online ordering to the rescue! I ordered two, one to replace the stolen pair and one to keep in reserve. I ordered on a Sunday and picked up my order at my local store on Wednesday, excellent! And free shipping to the store is just icing on the cake! The Coronas also go through limbs and saplings just as well. If you can get it in the jaws of these beasts, they'll cut it without blinking. For power, durability, convenience, (no batteries, cords, etc.), look no further. Get you some Coronas from Tractor Supply. You will NEVER settle for anything else. And get a spare just in case yours fall prey to a five-finger discount shopper like mine did.
