Coolaroo Butterfly Clips for Coolaroo Rolled Shade Fabric

Would have given them a 5 star rating, but difficult to secure them to the shade. Spent too much time doing it. Seem secure though,once applied. Survived first windstorm without problem.

The clips work good for the sunscreen I used. I used a hole punch to make it easy to lock.

I have an umbrella that we use to block the sun at our side door. We have had it set up several different ways with wire and push pins and nails in our siding and tied to our post. But all of these either damaged our siding/structure or don't work, the wind has blown it over several times. We've had to replace it because the wire didn't hold it and it flew away and broke. When I saw these coolaroo butterfly clips I was almost sure they would help me with my problem. It's not like they make a specific product for a large half umbrella made for the side of a house. Well actually yes that is the case. Now I don't have to rush outside in lightening and wind to take the umbrella down, which is dangerous. So not only has the clips successfully helped me tie down the umbrella, we used the rest because they come with a bunch, to affix a privacy screen on our porch. We bought some canvas and used these to tie it down to the porch posts. I am so happy with these little clips. I really suggest them for many different types of canvas/fabric shades, umbrella, or fences. They hold them down so you don't have to worry about wind. I live in a pretty high elevation that's why the wind is such a problem but so far they have held down my stuff. And it makes it all look neat and uniform as well as holding it safely in place! Totally recommend these!
