Q: Can I use this in my house for flea's

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! Yes, you can use Martin's Permethrin 13.3% inside your home to eliminate fleas, but you must strictly follow the official product label by applying it only as a targeted surface spray along baseboards, carpets, and rugs. Please ensure that all humans and pets, especially cats, are completely removed from the treatment area before spraying, as liquid permethrin is highly toxic to felines. The treated rooms must be thoroughly ventilated and allowed to air-dry completely before anyone re-enters the space, and the product should never be used as a broadcast fogger.

Q: Can this be used on mattress

1 Answer
  • A: Howdy neighbor! Yes, Martin's Permethrin 13.3% can be used on a mattress, but it is strictly limited to spot-treating the tufts, folds, and seams rather than spraying the entire flat surface. You must let the treated areas air-dry completely and cover the mattress with a clean protector or sheet before anyone sleeps on it. Please keep in mind that while it kills pests like bed bugs and stray crawling insects, it will not solve an indoor dust mite issue or treat medical skin parasites like scabies.

VERY EFFECTIVE

Love the versatility. Says it can be used on dogs, chickens, hogs, large livestock. Also able to use as a premise spray. Only bad thing I can say about this product is that there are multiple ratios of mixes based on what is being sprayed and/or how the product is to be applied. I don't believe that most people would measure 1.3 gallons to make a mix. BUT ... I mixed 2.5 ounces with 2 gallons of water in a sprayer for my cattle. Fly free for days, then it rained. My cattle don't really enjoy the spray but even the ones that didn't get a good dose were free of flies. When I run out I will buy this again.

Martin's Permethrin Smells Like Gasoline

I have been using Martin's Permethrin for years. This particular order of 4 bottles was different. The permethrin smells like gasoline. It is very strong. The bottle says "contains petroleum distillates". And this is for your pets? I would never use this on a pet. I can just see my pet roaming through the house smelling like a gas can. I got the older bottle out that has a small amount left. There is a mild smell but NOT of gas. I am very disappointed. I want to return the product.

It’s like Tick-Be-Gone in a bottle - it works!

Worked extremely well to not just deter but eliminate the tick infestation on my property. I had an abundance of American Dog ticks and Lone Star ticks…so much so that the little vampires were climbing the doorway and lying in wait for me as their next meal. Unfortunately, weeks of torrential rainfall was food of the gods for a new batch of ticks before it was time to reapply, but I will definitely be purchasing again as soon as monsoon season is over.
