The Cold Steel 4 in. Ti-Lite Zytel Tactical Folding Knife evokes the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950s-styled switchblade. Unlike most switchblades, however, the Ti-Lite is legal to carry nearly everywhere. For ease of carry, the Ti-Lite comes equipped with a small but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb stud or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out.Note: This product may require up to 2 additional days for order processing prior to shipping

  • Japanese-made AUS 8A stainless steel blade with a bead-blast finish, razor-sharp edge and sturdy, needle-sharp point
  • CNC milled handle is forged from super-tough 7075 Aluminum billets and is given an attractive bead blast surface and finished with a protective EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) coating
  • For maximum strength and safety, Cold Steel has equipped the Ti-Lite with Cold Steel's patent pending stainless steel leaf spring lock (proven to hold 130 lb.)
  • For ease of carry, the Ti-Lite comes equipped with a small but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb stud or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out

Great EDC

Awesome knife! The edge holds for about 3 weeks+ of continuous use without having to resharpen. Once you break in the hinge, the knife feels faster to deploy than other manual folding knives.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I love it even if it's imperfect

I only regret not having bought one of the high end Ti-Lites. I got the cheapest and got what I paid for. It has cheap AUS8 steel and the holes that hold the screws for the clip have wallowed out so mine has no clip now. But that's all I can say bad about this knife besides the poor pocket open feature. When I first got this, the action was so tight I developed a blister wearing it in. I just kept flicking it open again and again until it loosened up and the action now is butter smooth. Now, this thing snaps open eagerly in a way no other knife I have does. It wants to pop open like an eager dog wants to chase a ball. Plus you can open this knife several different ways- front and rear flick, thumb stud open and flipper nub. The pocket open feature is not very good however. The poor design of the pocket wave makes it so pocket opening is inconsistent. Plus with no pocket clip, it's now not even an option. I've had this knife for almost 2 years and I bring it with me when I don't want a pocket clip showing. It gets insanely sharp but doesn't retain an edge real well. But since this is not an EDC knife, that's not a big deal. I also have this at a 17 degree edge so it is razor sharp. This knife has a liner lock which I normally don't trust. But this liner lock is different. It is by far the most secure liner lock I have owned, it is rock solid has no play and I trust it with no question. The design and build quality of the CS liner lock on this knife is different from other knives. It's just better. Eventually I'll break down and get a 6" version of the Ti-Lite in S35VN. I just wish they had it in Aus10a as I don't like S35VN. We'll see.

Yes, I recommend this product.
