I was lucky enough to buy this XHP + hollow grinding + brown G10 three years ago. These are my favorite elements. This is a new product in stock and is out of print, so I cherish it very much. However, it is indeed my EDC. Here I will introduce this Coldsteel, the real EDC king: 1. The blade length is 3.5 inches, which is in line with the best practical blade length of EDC knives. 2. The front auxiliary finger groove design allows it to have excellent knife tip control. 3. The thin but wide G-10 handle has excellent carrying capacity, but can still fill the palm of your hand. 4. Radical hand guard design, which gives it emergency defense capabilities 5. The overall weight is less than 4 ounces, which is very light considering its strength and 3.5mm blade thickness. 6. Excellent balance, the balance point falls on the index finger, and excellent controllability 7. The three-in-one lock can resist exaggerated reverse folding of more than 350 pounds, which is much higher than other cold steel folding knives of the same size. You can look at its super thick stop PIN. I think this is the reason. 8. The design of the knife tip is thick but the blade is sharp (especially the concave grinding version). It is not easy to gradually grind it like this, but it makes it strong and sharp! I think Lawman is to Cold Steel what PM2 is to Spyderco. He's not just the best EDC knife in CS, he's the best in the world !

My daily carry for many years. A hard use knife you can depend on. Used it in the Military and Law Enforcement, along with as a contractor. This Demko design is amazing to me.

This thing rocks since they changed the handles. One of the reasons I bought a Code 4 originally was because of the thinness vs. the thick AL version at that time. I’m a full time LEO & I still have that C4 and I like it a lot but, the AL works much better for my current assignment in the training division. I use it with wet or dirt covered hands frequently, the G10 is grippy but not abrasive. I also use it to open large wrapped pallets for which this blade is a phenomenal slicer being a flat grind with an upswept edge. Overall a very practical working knife regardless of profession.

What can I say that's not already said - it's tough, razor sharp, perfect size and weight for an EDC. Yeah, should have got this earlier...
