Too bulky

I work out in the solar fields with extreme dry heat. I found this product too bulky to fit under a vest and too thick. Not enough airflow spots.

We are sorry to hear that this vest didn't work for you. The Chill-Its 6667 Wet Evaporative Vest with PVA material offers a more lightweight and less bulky fit. One caveat with this vest is that you will get wet when worn.

This is amazing!!

It's amazing how well this works! You just fill it with a little bit of water and then throw it in the fridge over night and it's ready to go in the morning! It kept me cool for hours especially when I was stuck directing traffic in this Georgia summer heat!!! The vest is extremely reflective so provides amazing protection during the day and at night. This vest is just amazing!

Cool idea and Works ok,but not for severe weather

The vest itself is actually made preety well. Its not a cheap throwaway. Quality is there for sure. Now it works ok when you pour a chiling cold bottle of water into it. But only lasts a few minutes before it gets hot due to ambient temperature.
Your mileage will vary. It will last longer in cooler weather or days that arent blazing hot. But anything 90+ up it just dosent hold to well
Out in the 100+ desert Temps it feels great as cold water in the vest presses on your upper body. But won't last to long and the cooling effects drastically wear off
Also don't overfill it. The back filling tab states exaxtly how much water to add. To much fluid will force it to come out and spill when you bend over and do certain activities
Overall it's a unique and cool idea. But not for 100+ degree deserts.
