HANGING WIRE IS WAY TOO SMALL IN DIAMETER/STRENGTH

Seed feeder is beautiful but too fragile. "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link," which applies here too. The absolute MOST important criticism is the small diameter WIRE upholding those 10 pounds of seed. It needs to be 2X thicker to withstand wear and tear from wind movement and other friction causes. If the HANGING WIRE is bigger and better quality, the complaints about it dropping and breaking would be almost eliminated barring other causes.

cute looking but inferior construction

Not worth the money. Lasted one day. Metal rod disengaged from bottom and feeder crashed to ground. just cheap plastic so base cracked. No way to reattach. Metal rod is short through the center tube so I have no idea what was holding it in place. Scoured the ground looking for pieces, but didn't find anything accept broken white plastic from the base.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Big Piece of Junk

I bought this feeder for its 10 pound capacity. I only filled it with about 1 pound of seed to see how the birds liked it. Like the other posters have stated the cable wire broke from the inside and the feeder crashed to the ground. I've tried everything to fix it . . crimping, tying, etc. Not heavy duty or well made at all . . it's cute . . but save your money!
