Not a great grill

My wife purchased this for me for Christmas. We moved and I didn't have a chance to assemble it until last week. Char Broil adds unnecessary plastic stickers to the grill which are not easily removed. Also, the stainless steel is dull and patchy. Save your money and buy a better quality grill, not this one. Zero stars.

As a whole I like the grill, but there are things that bother me a bit. The design of the lid is awkward which makes it cumbersome to open and slide it in the back. The other thing that is a bother is the electronic lighter quit working after a dozen or so uses. But with that said the cooked product is excellent. The no-flair is great and the fact that I have both a griddle and a grate is very nice.

Lid has to be open, doesn’t get hot enough

I’ve had all 4 burners at full boat for 10 minutes. Surface thermometer reads 250°. Id be done pork chops with my old closed lid grill by now. I’m not even done one side with this thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill has a griddle right in the middle! It is absolutely perfect for fish and vegetables. Way better than trying to do them on a grill rack or with a basket. The grill was easy to assemble and I like the sleek appearance. It has a piece on the back that can be lifted up for more prep space. I haven't used this feature yet but like having the option of having additional space. Great product. Even cooking and heats quickly.
