Chapin 12V7 Gpm Diaphragm Pump seems to be a great pump! I although had trouble hooking up getting everything I need to rig it to work! I have the 25 gallon on exit sprayer with the Chapin 2.5 12/V gpm pump. I order the bigger 7 gpm thinking I would get a lot more water spray distance maybe a better spray out my boom! After I received this new pump I found all the hookups were bigger, tubing, hose fittings and all! The pump would not just inter-change!! I had to go to the local hardware store buy parts to rig it! After hooking up and priming the new pump I couldn’t tell any difference in spray? I tried several times it never succeeded! Maybe if I replaced all the tubing with bigger tubing, and bigger hose and fittings totally refine the sprayer it could make a difference? But I didn’t want the spend the extra it would taken! I returned the pump with no problem! The only other thing the fittings going to the pump are the push in quick connect type with a O ring that only available at Chapin mfg. My local TSC store or hardware don’t have the parts to replace anything from Chapin sprayers or I would gave 5 stars! The sprayer is a great sprayer have to call Chapin to get part replacement!!
