An integrated demand switch automatically shuts it off at maximum pressure to conserve energy.

Have been using pumps from Tractor Supply for years. Admittedly, I am hard on them and expect them to wear out relatively quick. 1-2 months is average. Bought one of these and it quit in two days. Took it back and got another one. Two more days....dead. Looks like its time to find a new pump supplier.

Motors

I like the motors but they don't last me very long. I really wish I could learn how to work on them. This is my 4th or 5th one to buy. At first I had the smaller one that came with my 40 gallon tank but after using 2 I went to the bigger one's. The one I am replacing now the motor won't shut off I have to turn it off with the switch. I water a lot of flowers for our town which is my job. I just wear them out I guess.

Please contact our customer service team at 800-831-0027, as it's probably only the check valve inside the pump that is needing to be changed, as the check valve is the part responsible for building pressure and pumping your solution through the lines. they will be happy to assist you troubleshooting and get you whatever part is necessary to get your pump back to expected operating pressures.
