Have been using pumps from Tractor Supply for years. Admittedly, I am hard on them and expect them to wear out relatively quick. 1-2 months is average. Bought one of these and it quit in two days. Took it back and got another one. Two more days....dead. Looks like its time to find a new pump supplier.

Absolute junk

The 12v 4.5 is absolute junk. We bought the 40 gallon sprayer we used the first pump 2 times. We drained it released the pressure . Go back out a week later no pressure it would no build up. So we go buu the identical jump pump again needless to say they keep about 30 in stock. We used the second pump 1 time but we got the 3 yr warranty but its getting old swapping them out . Almost $500 in the crap i waste more money going to trade it back in than its worth

To help pinpoint the issue, it helps to know if the pump motor stops running entirely or if it runs but fails to build pressure: If the motor runs but won't pump: This is often caused by loss of prime, a trapped air lock, or debris holding an internal valve open. If the pump is failing completely: Certain chemical additives, petroleum-based liquids, or harsh concentrates can degrade internal diaphragms and check valves. We want to make sure your 40-gallon sprayer works reliably without constant trips to the store.
