REMCO's Extreme Duty 2.2 GPM on demand sprayer pump is perfect for use with harsh oil based chemicals and surfactants like Diesel. The Extreme-Duty Pump is driven by a sealed 12 volt electric motor and has a pressure setting of 60 PSI, making it the perfect match for Extreme duty cycles. In the most Extreme environments this pump offers world class efficiency with high flow rates and low operating temperature. Its 3/8" FNPT ports allow for easy fluid connection to any type of spray system. - A: Thanks for your question, vertical spray distance is determined by the components in your system like spray gun, nozzle size, hose length, and operational pressure. Recommended operational pressure for this pump is ~40 PSI and that will give you around 20ft of vertical spray. Q: Is it possible to convert this unit to a 120v house plug? Also are you able to lower the 60 psi shutoff?

Q: Could I use wood stain through this pump?

- A: Chemically this pump will hold up to wood stain, but one concern is when the stain dries it can create a film on the valves and cause priming/performance issues. Purchased this pump 10 months ago with 1 year warranty. Contacted Remco to address my problem with
Pressure switch failure…not included in warranty and have to purchase through Tractor Supply per Remco.
Will never purchase another and do my upmost to inform rural friends about quality, warranty and service.Not trying to get a
Replacement just defective switch…This is why America is tanking…pun intended

Sorry to hear about this, but pressure switches can burn out for a number of different reasons, the most common reason is a symptom called cycling. This is where the pump is pulsating on/off/on/off rapidly during operation. If our technician during the troubleshooting process determined that the pump was cycling during operation which could cause a premature failure, it is not covered under the warranty because that is an operational failure and not a factory defect.
