- A: Hello, your generator is equipped with an automatic battery charging circuit that will charge the battery while the engine is running. The battery will maintain a proper charge if the unit is used regularly (about once every two weeks). If it is used less frequently, the battery should be connected to a trickle charger or battery maintainer (not included) to keep the battery properly charged. The maximum charging rate should not exceed 1.5 amps. Follow the instructions included with the battery charger. The battery should be fully charged at least once per month. Easy to assemble

The unit was easy to assemble. Although the battery was dead, it started with manual pull starting on the second pull. After about fifteen minutes, the battery was charged. Controls are easy to understand.

This worked GREAT. I got a replacement battery from factory in no time TY. It starts great with remote. take about 5 seconds, You can see the choke lever move automatic, very cool. very quiet too. very surprised. I notice instruction not to good mostly pictures, it shows two brackets for transport but had three brackets.

With in the last 4 or 5 years I have purchase 3 champion inverter generators to supply power to my camp. My third was the 201054, I purchased this unit to replace my non-remote start exact machine the unit spare quiet, very economical to run. The manual unit and the remote unit ( on manual start) start 2nd pull, every time. Being off grid it is very important to have a reliable piece of equipment, the Champion inverters, perform the tasks very well.
