57 years old and die hard Levi's fanatic since the early 70's when a new pair were as stiff as cardboard and you had to wash them 2-3 times then wear them in for 6 months until they were tough as nails and fit like a glove. But in the last 20 years I noticed a significant decline in quality of Levi's. I do a lot of work on my knees fixing cars, general yardwork and cleaning up after my sloppy kids. The last 3 or 4 pairs I bought would wear holes in the knees within 3 or 4 months. The denim material became very thin and flimsy. While no jeans manufacturers use the tough denim from 50 years ago anymore these do seem to have much more longevity/quality and don't wear out nearly as soon as Levi's. I've been wearing them for a couple of years now and they have held up very well. The fit is spot on as well.
