Disappointed In The Quality

We bought 3 pairs of these jeans for a Christmas Present. They have all 3 ripped in different spots only on the denim and was not caught on anything to make them tear. Don't know if maybe the denim is not as durable, but bent down, (and I am a skinny person and they are baggy on me),they ripped in the rear end again only the denim. Thought we were buying quality as we have purchased a lot of different items from Carhartt.
Not sure if we want to spend this kind of money on jeans that tear for no reason in odd spots.
