- A: Rolled oats, steel cut oats, or other cracked oats are not useful for sprouting. Only whole oat groats will sprout. Hulless whole oats are sometimes available, but they may not sprout well.5 years agoHelpful?

My horses eat only your Blue Seal Crimped Grains. I have one Q/H that is N/H positive for HYPP. Nothing with high potassium for her. Your grains are the best. My Tractor Supply orders it just for my girl....A big Thank You.

Oats require cleaning

Our Blue Seal Crimped Oats arrived timely and in good condition. There are two problems with the oats in comparison to other brands that we have purchased. First, the oats are barely crimped at all. Almost just whole oats. Not what we were expecting. Second, the oats are littered with lots of pieces of stalks and stems. We have to sift through each bowl full to clean up before feeding to our animals. Disappointing.

NOT CRIMPED OATS!

The description says crimped oats but it's titeld actually "Crimped Grains" on the bag. There's VERY LITTLE crimped oats. For the price, I was severely disappointed. Won't be ordering this again and I would suggest you purchase something different as well.
