For the positive, it was a direct replacement of the corroded light unit I already had. It was an easy install for someone with a background of wiring lighting or electronics. There were no instructions, in package or even online. For the novice, it could go very wrong because of the lack of instructions. What I found is first you needed to make a bonding cable, using the existing hole next to the bulb required you to scrape off paint so the connection would be good. There were no screws, not for my bonding strap, and not to attach the light. Without the necessary information (ground bonding is required) a person could wire this up and find that it does not work, or maybe think that it is only a single filament solution. There are three wires required for this light, and I think the manufacturer should at least have attached a bonding strap to the light. The old light fixture that I replaced did have a bonding strap connected to the bulb base, unfortunately it was not something that could be re-used.

Not as described. This is a single function light not Tail/Stop/Turn. There are two wires so I assumed the housing doubled as the ground, one wire for tail, one wire for stop/turn. Wrong, one wire works as ground one wire works as power.

Great units, Easy to install.

This Blazer replaced some old lights from an ol' 84 horse trailer. From 84 to 2019, fit and work like a dream.
