- A: On the back of the tail light you will see a recessed area with eight holes. you will have to strip the wires of insulation and insert in to the correct holes. The holes will be listed as brake and turn. This will be a Yellow wire if the tail light is on the drivers side or a Green wire if on the passengers side.The other set of holes will be listed as running lights. This wire will be brown on both sides. Use the top holes for inserting the wires. If you insert into the wrong hole you can straghten a paper clip and insert it in the bottom hole and the pull the wire out.11 months agoHelpful?
