The Hopkins LED Submersible Square Trailer Light Kit is designed to meet DOT requirements for trailers under 80 in. wide. This kit is not only ideal for boat trailers, but for any utility, camping, snowmobile, and motorcycle trailer where LED lights are desired. The life of an LED trailer light far exceeds traditional incandescent trailer lights lasting up to 100,000 hours and no bulb changes. The lens is sonically sealed to provide protection from moisture and corrosion. Additionally, all electronics are potted with water-resistant resin for a second layer of defense. The 12V stop/tail/turn lights feature universal back and side mount options. Lights are individually replaceable with Blazer model numbers C7483RTM and C7493RTM.

Q: What gauge is the wire? Does it need to be split from the 4 wire flat to 3ires to one light and 2 wires to the other?

- A: AlfredoSauce, The gauge of the wires are 16 for the ground wire and 18 for the other wires. The wires do need to split for two wires down each side. However, this kit comes with a Y harness. Bright, Easy set-up. Look Great

i bought these LED trailer lights for my trailer 2 days ago 5/29/14 and hooked them up. it was a easy setup. plenty of wire i had left over. cant really say anything bad about them Except there really Bright and work just as they should. will recommend to anyone looking to upgrade there lights or just for show. All in all great lights for the price.

LED's go out

The LED's last, but the citcuit boards have problems. On my second set which went bad after 8 months. They sent me a whole new set when I complained. Now the second set is missing half or more of the LED's after another 2 years. Going to buy another set, but only because of price. The circuit boards are sealed in epoxy so no chance to resolder the bad connections. Hope they have better construction now.
