The Applied Biochemists Weedtrine D Aquatic Herbicide Pond Treatment is a broad range aquatic weed control product that kills underwater, floating and shoreline weeds. When using on plants above the water, use with an aquatic use non-ionic surfactant. The pond treatment comes ready-to-use for convenience.
For additional information on this product, please see the Product Documents section for all downloadable user manuals, installation guides, brochures and warranty statements.
- Apply early in the day when water temperatures are at least 60 deg. F
- Treat when growth first appears
- When fish are present, treat in small sections to avoid oxygen depletion from decaying vegetation consuming too much oxygen at once
- For best results on tough-to-kill aquatic weeds, tank mix with Cutrine Plus Algaecide
- Easy dilute and spray application
- Fast results on a broad range of under water weeds
- Water use is restricted for irrigation, drinking (animal or human) and swimming; see product label for details

Excellent Results when properly applied

My first application failed due to not following instructions! After adding surfacant (keeps the weedtrine on the surface) it has worked well in several other ponds for duck and meal weed removal. Highly recommend the product. I used a motor driven pump to create a fine spray on to the ponds.

Wild ducks left me with a pond full of duck weed.I have used this product twice this year and I still have a pond full of duck weed.It would kill off maybe 1/4 in week to 10 days and this stuff replace's its self in 2 to three weeks, so lots of money for nothing.Don't know what to use any more.

Worked on stubborn niasid weeds along the edges

Worked well after second application, I added the algecide with it. Took a good week to die. But worked. It was gentle enough for me to use as we have our pond lined with a liner. I have never had underwater weeds before.
